Dispute Resolution

The Dispute Resolution Committee offers a venue to encourage awareness of dispute resolution resources by Association members, as well as an opportunity for those members to pursue common interests. Many areas of the legal community within the jurisdiction of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit have active dispute resolution and settlement practices. Such techniques can sometimes afford comprehensive, efficient, and economical solutions for disputes as alternatives to the usual adjudication process. Even when the techniques are not well-suited to solving a particular matter in litigation, awareness of their availability can open new perspectives on options for streamlining adjudication.
