​The panel will provide an overview of the current state of estoppels following IPRs.
Since the 2016 CAFC decision in Shaw Industries v. Automated Creel, courts have evolved in their application of the AIA’s estoppel provisions. The panel will consider the impact that this evolution in the law has had on patent owners and petitioners.
