Summary:
December will mark the three-year anniversary of the new ex parte proceedings enacted as part of the Trademark Modernization Act. Since that time, the USPTO has instituted more than 1800 Trademark Modernization Act proceedings.

This program will cover the history of the Trademark Modernization Act – how and why it came to be. It will also share insights from the USPTO and practitioners on how implementation has gone, and lessons learned in the first three years of the new proceedings.
