Insights on the MSPB’s Assessment of Witness Credibility and Hearsay Evidence

Wednesday, February 12, 2025
2:30- 3:30 PM ET

Panelists:
The Honorable Ronald Weiss, Administrative Judge, Office of Regional Operations, U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board

Raymond Angelo, Associate Director, Office of Appeals Counsel, U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board

Summary:
Prevailing in an MSPB appeal can depend on persuading the Board to accept your client’s version of the facts. This often involves an assessment of the credibility of hearing testimony and the probative value of hearsay evidence. In this webinar, an experienced Board Administrative Judge and an experienced attorney in the Board’s Office of Appeals Counsel share their insights on the Board’s evaluation of hearing testimony, witness credibility, and hearsay evidence.
