The Federal Circuit Bar Association® (FCBA) will host a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program on October 6, 2026, at the University Club of Chicago. This special event, which coincides with the Federal Circuit’s Court Week in Chicago, IL, will bring together esteemed judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) and other courts including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and distinguished members of the legal and academic community. Thought leaders will discuss such topics as Chicago’s role in enforcing patents against online infringers, pleading standards, and the Federal Circuit review of recent remedies issues. This program will include a CAFC Judicial panel discussion and culminate with a Fireside Chat featuring the Chief Judges of the Federal and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals and the Northern District of Illinois.
