In an effort to assist law students on their academic and professional journeys, the Federal Circuit Bar Association® offers many resources, such as complimentary student registrations for our webcasts and other virtual programs, scholarship opportunities, externships, and free FCBA Student Memberships.

Externships
The Federal Circuit Bar Association® seeks a responsible, motivated, and creative student extern to work remotely in the 2022 FCBA Student Externship Program. The applicant must be a second or third year law student working toward completion of a law degree from an accredited law school. Apply today!
Scholarships
The Federal Circuit Bar Association® Charitable and Educational Fund outreaches in a broad spectrum of ways to both the United States regional and national communities as well as the global community. From pro bono and scholarship services, to high-level mentoring and dialogue conversations, the Fund makes a serious difference in the innovation, intellectual property, trade, and related spaces.
Scholarships are given out each year following a springtime application period. The Association offers three different categories of scholarships: “Judicial”, “Association”, and the Hutchinson Writing Competition. Judicial Scholarships include the Howard T. Markey Memorial Scholarship, the Helen W. Nies Memorial Scholarship, and the Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Scholarship. The Association Scholarships include awards in honor of William S. Virtual Programs
The Association offers free access to a vast library of past webcasts with membership. Substantive topics range across the Federal Circuit’s jurisdiction as well as other topics such as Diversity, Networking, and General Practice.
